As you know, Veeam released the service pack 3 on December 2017, it’s not fix bugs only, it also includes a lot of new features –
Built-in agent management,
Insider protection for Veeam Cloud Connect,
Data location tagging…
The details information you can check from Veeam website https://www.veeam.com/kb2354 and https://www.veeam.com/kb2353.
The steps are straightforward, but you still need to be careful about two things, the first one is “If you use Veeam ONE to monitor Veeam Backup & Replication or Veeam Cloud Connect, be sure to install Update 3 for Veeam ONE 9.5 first” and the second is “If you are a tenant of a cloud provider, please contact your provider before upgrading to ensure the provider has applied Update 3 on their end”.
Ok, what are you waiting for? It’s the time to install them, let’s follow the steps and install them.
- Login to your Veeam one server.
- Download Veeam One 9.5 update 3 from https://www.veeam.com/kb2354.

Open download folder and double click VeeamOne_9.5.0.3801.Update3 file.

Click Yea on the User Access Control page.

On the Welcome page, click Next.

Enter the service account user name and password on the Service Account page.

Click Install on the Ready to Install page.

Make sure installed successfully and click Finish.

Next, you can install update Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 UPDATE 3 for your backup server. I recommend you run backup the server configuration before install update 3.
- Login to Veeam Backup server.
- Open Veeam Backup & Replication console.

Make sure all jobs are successfully, and them disable them.

Download Veeam Backup and Replication 9.5 update 3 from follow link.

Double click VeeamBackup&Replication_9.5.0.1536Update3 file.

Click Yes on the User Access Control page.

Click Next on the Welcome page.

On the Ready to Install page, click Install.

Make sure installed successfully and then click Finish.

Open Veeam Backup&Replication 9.5 console and click Connect.

On the Components Update page, select all servers and then click Apply.

Make sure all components have been upgraded successfully and then click Finish.

Last step, don’t forget to uncheck Disable for all jobs to reenable them.
