Greetings to our fellow IT pros and CheckYourLogs.net readers! 👋

We’re excited to share something new with you this month—our PortalFuse KB Report, now available in a KB-first format designed to help sysadmins, patch managers, and security teams make sense of the ever-growing complexity of Microsoft’s monthly updates. While looking at CVEs can be important, processing the endless list of vulnerabilities can also be overwhelming. Since Microsoft consolidates many fixes into a patch release, we thought it would be easier for administrators to focus on key details about servicing their environment.

🎯 Why Another Report?

If you’ve been following Patch Tuesday for any time, you know how much content gets dropped—CVEs, KBs, servicing stack updates, and new WinRE patches all at once. To simplify this, we’ve created a more admin-friendly way to digest updates by organizing our report by KB article. This way, we can still reference CVEs, highlight known issues, and provide mitigation guidance.

This approach gives you a clearer understanding of what to test, track, and triage as Microsoft releases updates. We update every Tuesday evening, but because of some quality assurance processes by real humans and the odd AI issue, the report’s timing to production can vary. Look at these resources to help you understand what is needed to secure your environment.
