Hey Checkyourlogs Fans,
It is that time of the month again for patching our Production Clusters. This time we have a critical fix that has been added for a known 2-Node Azure Stack HCI reboot bug. It had been added in a separate August 2019 update and is now included in the general September Cumulative Update.
We highly recommend getting this done as that Reboot Issue was highly problematic, especially when taking down my production sites.
From the product group on our slack.storagepsacesdirect.com channel, this has been confirmed to have been fixed.
Thank you, Elden, for making this information public regarding the fix. We appreciate your time to join the over 900 members of the Azure Stack HCI community on Slack.
Thanks,
Dave
Just wondering if the Azure Stack HCI is the same as Windows 2019 with clustered Hyper-V and S2D, or if having HCI gives access to different upstreams packages?
Azure Stack HCI is the same as S2D –> It is the rebranded name of the WSSD Program.
